THE ANGELIC TWINS
an•gel•ic ~ like or befitting an angel, especially in virtue, beauty, etc.:angelic sweetness.
twins ~ either of two persons or things closely related to or closely resembling each other.
This blog is shared by two ladies, both engineering students. Despite the fact that "engineering" is a "man's work", these two lovely ladies prove that they can still be fashionable although they chose to be inclined in a "man's job".
Three major reasons why it was entitled, "The Angelic Twins"
1. Twins; not because we're identical nor biological sisters, but a lot of people says that we look similar. Our friends and family tell us we look the same. Teehee ^^
2. Angelic; because we think and we feel pretty.
3. Lastly, we both have a history being teased and called "Angel Locsin" Hahahaha :D

It's been two months since our last blog post and we're sorry for being hiatus for a quite some time. We've just been busy with acads and other school activities that took most of our time. Sorry!
And to make it up to you, let me show some awesome photos taken by our dearest friend, Rani De Lumen.
Rani and I were just hanging out, one rainy Sunday morning, when we decided to have a shoot once the rain stops. We stopped by at our school to run some errands before the shoot, but as soon as we finished, the rain started to pour down again and we ended up doing the shoot at school.
For my outfit, I wanted to look girly but not too much, a little comfy and of course, something that will match the cold weather. So I wore my Racer Dress from Be More Fab, a white knitted cover up and my sneakers. I also kept my accessories simple and dainty. Both my earrings and necklace were gifts from my friends.
As much as I wanted to share more photos with you, I don't want this post to be too long. Teehee.
And btw, we're also having a closet sale on our Facebook page. Just click here to check it out.
So this will it for today. We'll try to post more to make it up from our long hiatus. But you can keep in touch with us on twitter, just click here to follow me and here to follow Jianne.

Blue Water Day Spa
written on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 @ 9:35 AM ✈
Right after our lunch at Chef Doy's, we headed to Blue Water Day Spa. This branch is actually new here in Naga, and in Abee's case, it's her first time to be pampered at a spa. So just imagine how excited she was, and of course everyone else. After a much tummy filling lunch at Chef Doy's, a spa treat is just perf!
We experienced foot reflexology, back, head and arms massage. The therapists were so kind and sweet! From time to time they ask if the pressure is right, and we always go for hard. Haha! The whole massage treatment spent almost 2 hours and it was at their Spa Theater. We got to choose the movie to be watched and picked Warm Bodies. Yeah, it wasn't a new movie but most of us haven't watched it yet, so we agreed on that. They have a lot of movies to choose from and it is also up to date! Ms. Apple and Abee was even joking to watch the Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows (yes, they have that too!).
Before and after the whole pampering experience they served drinks. The Spa Theater can hold up to 10 persons and even if you go alone, they'd still play a movie for you! How cool is that? That's why we recommend this place for everyone. Best place to relax and pamper youselves. Take note, you can bring your own food. They also offer a lot of other services which you can search on their website here. Or you can go visit their place at Panganiban Drive, Naga City. They also have branches in other places too. Go visit their website. you'll surely love the place!

Shoot with Mango Red
written on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 @ 9:39 AM ✈
Day two started with a breakfast at The Avenue Plaza Hotel. That was Abee's second breakfast that day. And Jianne did not eat her breakfast at the hotel. Anyhoo, our task was to cover the shoot with Mango Red. So, Ms. Theresa Carbonel and Regine Matias are already so busy early in the morning for glamming up the couples for their shoot. So the first couple of the day has a vintage setting and is located at Bigg's. The set was so cute, of course, styled by Mr. Ben Nasayao. All through out the photoshoot with the couples, all of them are of course wearing a pair of Havaianas. As you know, the room was like an outlet store of Havaianas for loads of pair in the room. It was like heaven! We want to grab it all. Haha! Of course, Mango Red was in action! Yipeeee. Really really great opportunity to meet them. We really admire their works. Check their works here on their very own website and witness the beauty of each photograph possess. Very artistic. Truly "The Rockstars of Wedding Photography"!
Watch out for more posts about our glam team (the Ellana Minerals), our co-bloggers, our experience at the spa and the closing dinner!

The Angelic Twins started as our fashion blog, but lately we've realized
that we should broaden our blog into more field, as Jianne mentioned in her previous post. So starting this year our blog will not only
be about fashion anymore, it will also share our travel and food
adventures, our collaborations and many more things about ourselves.
Another experience we had during the Havaianas event is our delightful lunch at Chef's Doy. A gourmet restaurant featuring different kinds of Filipino cuisines also portraying innovations on the classic recipes. As they say "Fusion, flares, and twist of Filipino cuisines". It is located at the Cereza Compound at Magsaysay Avenue. We were served mouthwatering food at our table and you will see photos of it below. Some of the food that were served to us are Paella Bicolana, Pancit Halo, Caldereta Suanoy, Turtang Sili, Lumpaing Natong, Tinuntong na hita ng manok, Kare-kareng Litson Kawali. From the names of the food you can really say that it is very Filipino!
We've met Chef Doy in person and he told us so much things about the food and the restaurant. He is very nice and hospitable. We even had the chance to take pictures with him!
The place is so cozy and very clean. The food are amazing! Plus the staff are very accommodating. It is a must recommend place if you want to eat with your friends or family. The prices of the food are very reasonable and your tummy will really be happy after eating those appetizing food at Chef Doy's.

We live under the same sky ♥
“To put away aimlessness and weakness, and to begin to think with purpose, is to enter the ranks of those strong ones who only recognize failure as one of the pathways to attainment; who make all conditions serve them, and who think strongly, attempt fearlessly, and accomplish masterfully.”
- James Allen

She's always behind the camera because a lot of people say that she is great in taking photos. Yet, this shy girl also loves fashion. She loves collecting bags and shoes. She loves everything about fashion. She just usually glam up because she wanted to. But she doesn't take a lot of picture of herself. She's just shy and thinks that she's better working off the cam. This girl will try to be more expressive in her taste in fashion and will share the knowledge she have through this blog.
