THE ANGELIC TWINS
an•gel•ic ~ like or befitting an angel, especially in virtue, beauty, etc.:angelic sweetness.
twins ~ either of two persons or things closely related to or closely resembling each other.
This blog is shared by two ladies, both engineering students. Despite the fact that "engineering" is a "man's work", these two lovely ladies prove that they can still be fashionable although they chose to be inclined in a "man's job".
Three major reasons why it was entitled, "The Angelic Twins"
1. Twins; not because we're identical nor biological sisters, but a lot of people says that we look similar. Our friends and family tell us we look the same. Teehee ^^
2. Angelic; because we think and we feel pretty.
3. Lastly, we both have a history being teased and called "Angel Locsin" Hahahaha :D

Shoot with Mango Red
written on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 @ 9:39 AM ✈

Day two started with a breakfast at The Avenue Plaza Hotel. That was Abee's second breakfast that day. And Jianne did not eat her breakfast at the hotel. Anyhoo, our task was to cover the shoot with Mango Red. So, Ms. Theresa Carbonel and Regine Matias are already so busy early in the morning for glamming up the couples for their shoot. So the first couple of the day has a vintage setting and is located at Bigg's. The set was so cute, of course, styled by Mr. Ben Nasayao. All through out the photoshoot with the couples, all of them are of course wearing a pair of Havaianas. As you know, the room was like an outlet store of Havaianas for loads of pair in the room. It was like heaven! We want to grab it all. Haha! Of course, Mango Red was in action! Yipeeee. Really really great opportunity to meet them. We really admire their works. Check their works here on their very own website and witness the beauty of each photograph possess. Very artistic. Truly "The Rockstars of Wedding Photography"!

Watch out for more posts about our glam team (the Ellana Minerals), our co-bloggers, our experience at the spa and the closing dinner!

The Angelic Twins started as our fashion blog, but lately we've realized
that we should broaden our blog into more field, as Jianne mentioned in her previous post. So starting this year our blog will not only
be about fashion anymore, it will also share our travel and food
adventures, our collaborations and many more things about ourselves.
Another experience we had during the Havaianas event is our delightful lunch at Chef's Doy. A gourmet restaurant featuring different kinds of Filipino cuisines also portraying innovations on the classic recipes. As they say "Fusion, flares, and twist of Filipino cuisines". It is located at the Cereza Compound at Magsaysay Avenue. We were served mouthwatering food at our table and you will see photos of it below. Some of the food that were served to us are Paella Bicolana, Pancit Halo, Caldereta Suanoy, Turtang Sili, Lumpaing Natong, Tinuntong na hita ng manok, Kare-kareng Litson Kawali. From the names of the food you can really say that it is very Filipino!
We've met Chef Doy in person and he told us so much things about the food and the restaurant. He is very nice and hospitable. We even had the chance to take pictures with him!
The place is so cozy and very clean. The food are amazing! Plus the staff are very accommodating. It is a must recommend place if you want to eat with your friends or family. The prices of the food are very reasonable and your tummy will really be happy after eating those appetizing food at Chef Doy's.

It's fun in CWC
written on Saturday, July 5, 2014 @ 7:33 AM ✈
One of the things we want to share is how we enjoyed our experience at Cam Sur Watersports Complex. It was our next stop after having lunch at Bigg's on the first day. After a 30-minute ride from Naga, we arrived at CWC. We went straight to the cabin first to set-up some stuff and leave our bags but we were astonished by the appealing interior designs made by Mr. Ben Nasayao. We waited for them to set up all the things needed for the shoot and while doing that, we had the time to chitchat with the Havaianas staff and my fellow bloggers. We discovered so many amazing stuff of Muy Bien, Mr. Ben Nasayao's own brand line. With the printed caps, personalized pillows, chairs, clothes and etc. It was such a killer. Two thumbs up!!
One of the sponsors of this event is the Ellana Minerals by Ms. Theresa Carbonel. The make-ups that they use are very safe and ideal not only for special occasions but for everyday use. Ellana Minerals are make-up products made from minerals. Very very safe to any kind of skin. You can visit their site here if you want to know more about them and where to buy their products. It was such a great privilege when Ms. Theresa have applied make up on our faces. The Theresa Carbonel. Wow, right?
So we had to cover the behind-the-scenes photos from the make up session to the official shoot. We had to cover the photoshoot with Mango Red. It was fun! They play music while doing the shoot. Maybe it's their way to lighten the mood, so that the people around would be lively and they would be more creative doing their shoots. So glad to meet them and to work with them.
BUT, part of the event of course is for us to surely have fun. They gave us a free wake board pass! Yay! But we did not try because we had to attend class at 5:30. We just enjoyed watching our fellow bloggers having so much fun. After few hours, we decided to prepare now to go to school. We had a quick but really refreshing shower at the cabin. Jianne was the first one to have a quick shower so Ms. Theresa applied light make-up to her and Ms. Regine Matias fixed her hair. (Oh diba pupunta na lang ng school nakaayos pa? Bonnga! Haha) Thanks for the free service that's why we arrived at school on time.
We were not able to cover the second shoot and did not have dinner with the guys but it's okay. It was just the first day. We had so many fun activities the following day, anyway. More posts to come ☺ Thank you to the lovely sponsors for this event:

Havaianas: A Dream Photoshoot by MangoRed
written on Thursday, July 3, 2014 @ 9:14 AM ✈
Next to Kalsada PH, this is one of the biggest collaborations in our
blogging career. Last June 23 and 24, we had the opportunity to be a
part of fulfilling the dream photoshoot of five couples who won at the special promotion of Havaianas.
Inspired by
today’s love for photographs, Havaianas put together a special 2-month promotion
for Havaianatico couples who color their love story with the most colorful
flip-flops in the world. Five couples from all over South Luzon are hailed as
winners through a raffle draw supervised by respective DTI representatives on
April 25.
Havaianas
together with MangoRed Productions put the dream of the five couples
are brought into reality. The MangoRed Productions! WOW. They were the
ones who covered for the wedding of Iya Villania and Drew Arellano and
also the wedding of Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones. It was such a dream
come true working with them not only for the couples but also for us,
bloggers. It was a very long two-day event, and one post isn't enough
for sharing you guys what we did for the entire event.
We started the day with an opening program at the gazebo at Avenue Plaza Hotel. We've met our co-bloggers (we'll have a separate post for our bonding moments with them)
that day and the staff who made the event possible and of course, the
lovely couples. We were welcomed by the amazing interior design of the
Gazebo by Mr. Ben Nasayao and yummy finger food and refreshment from the
hotel. The program was hosted by Ms. Jacqueline Eleazar. (She was
actually Jianne's schoolmate in hihg school. Kawaii) Maam Rica
Beunaflor, the head of Havaianas Southern Luzon, welcomed us with her
short message. The couples also had the chance to introduce themselves
and we had the chance to talk to everyone. Also, Ms. Theresa
Carbonel, from Ellana Minerals, the make-up artist and Regine Matias, the hair stylist also introduced themselves. We had the chance to talk to everyone so that we can know who are the people that we will be working with for the two-day event. After that we had a sumptuous lunch at Bigg's diner Magsaysay, one of the Bicol's best restaurants in town.

There are still so many things we want to share. In the meantime, this is it for now. More posts to come. But first, we would like to thank the people who made this event possible. Thank you to HAVAIANAS for making this event happen. We would also like to thank the partners and sponsors for this event. Without them, this event wouldn't be a success. Thank you!
