THE ANGELIC TWINS

an•gel•ic ~ like or befitting an angel, especially in virtue, beauty, etc.:angelic sweetness.

twins ~ either of two persons or things closely related to or closely resembling each other.

This blog is shared by two ladies, both engineering students. Despite the fact that "engineering" is a "man's work", these two lovely ladies prove that they can still be fashionable although they chose to be inclined in a "man's job".

Three major reasons why it was entitled, "The Angelic Twins"

1. Twins; not because we're identical nor biological sisters, but a lot of people says that we look similar. Our friends and family tell us we look the same. Teehee ^^

2. Angelic; because we think and we feel pretty.

3. Lastly, we both have a history being teased and called "Angel Locsin" Hahahaha :D

Throwback #3 | Nonchalant

Here's for our third throwback, nonchalant. An adjective that means feeling or appearing casually calm and relaxed. Oh yes, we don't know what to say but hey, we're very happy! We were allowed to enter the school premises wearing these clothes. Stupid, dress code! Anyway, you can see that we were indeed really happy that day and because we didn't have anything to do, the afternoon was very relaxing.

So much ranting, leggo' to our outfit details...

Throwback #2 | Shine Bright

Hey guys. Let's have a quick post about our throwback last February 15, 2013. So sorry for not updating and the reason's just the same. We're very busy on school works. So, let's just make this quick.

Our theme that day was to wear something bright and yes, we ended up wearing pink, again. It was unintentional. Let's just say that's how twins think. Maybe that's mental telepathy. Teehee ;)

Anyway, let's now go to our outfit details.

Accidentaly in Pink
written on Saturday, February 23, 2013 @ 5:54 AM ✈

Hey guys! Sorry for not updating. We've been so busy on school works and in fact, we're still working on some paper works. Anyway, we'll have a throwback here.

Throwback #1 | Accidentally in Pink

This post will be about our outfit last February 14, 2013. Yeah, just an ordinary day, okay? :) We spent the day hanging out with friends. Anyway, we didn't actually chose to dress up in connection with the celebration of the day. Not that we're bitter or so *cause we're not* but for us, you should treat your loved ones special everyday not just on a particular date.

Our theme for this day was Black. We're not mourning neither protesting against the celebration of the day by wearing black but we just wanted to wear something normal. So, it's black and accidentally, both of us paired black with pink. Choosing pink as to pair with black was unintentional but we loved the result of it. :)

We loved the fact that our outfits were alternates. Ohhh, another possible title for this post, The Alternates. Anyway, let's go to our outfit details. :)

The Enchanted Night
written on Sunday, February 17, 2013 @ 6:16 AM ✈

Hi there guys! It'll just be my point-of-view in this outfit post for the Theater Night. Our theme is supposed to be classic but because of some turns of events, Abee wasn't able to dress up.

I'll tell you guys what happened on the awesome and enchanted night of our theater night but before anything else, let's go to my outfit details.

Black 3/4 Sleeves, U2 (thrift store); Black Dress, Versace; Doll Shoes, Zanea

Bag, Belladonia; Watch, Swatch

I bought this awesome Versace dress from a thrift store in Naga. Cool, right? I was able to buy a dress with a prestige brand name in a very minimal cost. Perks of thrift sopping *wink* It was only a hundred and twenty pesos, way too far from its original price ranging from twenty thousand and up. It feels so great.

Hype my look on Lookbook:

Before telling what happened on the Theater night, we just want to tell you guys that we were able to meet Ate Jamie that day. Yay! Abee and I were so happy yet I felt guilty, too. You see, we were supposed to meet at around 6 but I arrived at Ateneo for around 7. Too bad. That's actually my problem. I'm always late for meet-ups, for going out and etc. That's so me. I'm sorry Ate Jamie :( And thank you so much for your surprise. I totally love it. Thanks much. *hugs and kisses* ♥

Check out her blog, by the way. Just click here. :)

Now, let me tell you how the Theater Night went...

Go Engineering ♥
written on Friday, February 15, 2013 @ 6:42 AM ✈

Hi there guys. Sorry for not updating our blog. You see, we've been so busy on different events and activities at the university. Actually, we've been at school from morning to evening because of events and our time was really occupied by those events. We always went home late and we didn't had the time to blog. By the way, last February 13 was the opening of the Engineering and Architecture Week together with the University Week. The good thing about these events is that we have the opportunity to dress up everyday.

So for the first day, we've decided to just wear our batch shirt. We've decided to be fashionable in wearing just an ordinary shirt.

We did the photoshoot near Jianne's house. We went to Jianne's house to take some rest because we had an event that night.*We will blog about our outfits on the event after this*

So much for that, let's talk about our outfit.

Still girly for the busy week.
written on Sunday, February 10, 2013 @ 6:35 AM ✈

Every second week of February, our university celebrates its Foundation Week and at same time the Engineering and Architecture Department in our school celebrates the EA Week.

In connection to this, we, especially the EA students gets very busy in preparing for this big event of our school. So yesterday, I went to our school to help my batch mates in preparing for the EAchanted Night, in which the different year level and organization students of the Engineering and Architecture will showcase a theater like performance together with the professors of our department. Other than that we'll also have the EAchanted Kwin. It's a beauty pageant of 100% male EA students. :) Sounds weird right? But yeah, it's cool! Haha! All of this will happen on February 13-16.

Also on February 15, we'll be showing the beauty and brains in the search for the Mr. and Ms. University and on February 16, the different departments in our university, including the elementary and high school students will have performances showing the different festivals in the Philippines. :)

Okayyy. Enough of this. Let's go for my outfit yesterday! :)

Laced up! :)
written on Thursday, February 7, 2013 @ 2:18 AM ✈

Our theme for this week is laces. Unfortunately, Jianne had other commitments set on that day so she was not able to join me. -.- But it's okay, I understand my twin. ;) You all know that we don't have someone who can take pictures of us so we just take places, and that was my problem when I learned that Jianne won't make it. Good thing I saw my friends (Rani, Carla, and Chloe) and I asked them if they could accompany me so that I won't fail to give you an update which they said yes. ;>

Albay for the nth time!
written on Saturday, February 2, 2013 @ 5:26 AM ✈

Yesterday, February 1, we had our so-called educational tour but not-really-educational in Albay for the nth time. Yes, that's true. Albay had always been the place for tours or whatsoever so there was neither thrill nor excitement going there. Almost all of us say that it was baduy (uncool) since all of us went there already for so many times. But it was actually fun! Being with friends had always been the best! A good way to start this month of February!

The very first group picture of the day. "Jianne: Sadly, I took the picture so I wasn't in the picture." We were the early birds. The waiting time was 6:00 but of course, Filipino Time! What do you expect? Haha!

It was good coming early since we got the chance to pick comfortable seats in the bus. We actually left the campus 8 o'clock in the morning. So while waiting, we took some snapshots of ourselves.

We were constantly changing positions while we were on the ride. It's just our way to feel relaxed and not to feel dizzy.

"Jianne: While we're on our way to Albay, I took some photos for me not to be bored. And I really appreciate the nature's view."

First Stop: Kawa-kawa - Ligao, City

"Abigail: I took these photos while Jianne is being crazy and doing some playful acts with our friends, Jules." These photos were during our orientation about the Kawa-Kawa. Kawa-Kawa hill is located in Ligao, City. Its name is derived from its shape resembling a 'kawa' or a cauldron.

Hello there Helen, Rani, Jenn, Nicole & Kuya Kenn! They're one of our closest friends. Nicole is Jianne's cousin by the way.

Abigail went uphill without Jianne. Jianne was too lazy to go up on the hill because it was actually too steep. Some photos of our friends.

On our way from Ligao to to Legazpi

These photos are a few snapshots inside our bus when we're bound to Legazpi going to Wild Life. We were supposed to go uphill the Ligñon Hills but due to the rainy weather, we went straight to the park.

Abee has taken the first photo on the left since Jianne just woke up from a short nap. She took it while the bus is moving.

As you can see, Jianne weren't in any of the photos. You should know why. Haha! She was the one who took the photos!

Photos of some of our friends. (Left to Right) Krishna, Anthony, Pearl, and Jannel!

Just some playful acts inside the bus. Our friends requested that Renzo and Jianne would have a picture together.

Second Stop: Albay Park and Wild Life - Legazpi City

We ate our lunch inside the bus because it was raining when we had arrived at the park. After waiting for a few minutes, we able to go out of the bus and stroll in the park.

Inside the park, we took photos with some of our friends. Jianne was able to have a picture with James. Hi there James! The very first photo that we took in the park was the photo on the right - Kathy and Israel! Hello to you two!

The boys in our bus looking at the ostrich!

Thanks Rani for taking these photos! Nicole was not looking at the camera so take two! And there she already looked at the camera! "Jianne: Hello cousin!"

Hi there SG1B! Yay for the complete group shot! ;)

Rhea, Krishna, Tin, and Anthony enjoys their boat-ride. That kid on the blue varsity jacket in the first photo was actually teasing them.

They, too, enjoying at the park, riding at the padyak. (L-R; Jannel, Avegail, Pearl, Jules, Ate Beth)

It was raining again so we've decided to go back to our bus. What's fun is that we had this vanity fair inside the bus together with Chris, Israel and Jao. We did some model poses actually but it was hilarious.

Third Stop: Pacific Mall

It was just a quick stop at the Pacific Mall or the so-called Gaisano. Jianne didn't even bother going inside the mall because it was just too boring and no thrill for her. Besides, it was rainy. So she let herself in the bus with Darlyn and just wait for the guys to come back. Abee went outside with Chris and our other friends.

The photo on the left was the photo of Jianne with a gift from Ren. Ren (Karen) is her friend. "Jianne: Thank you, Ren for this gift!" The girls on the photo on the right is Jess and Kathy. The girls adjacent to our seats.

Hi there Ian and Cheska!

Last Stop: Embarcadero

Too sad, it was the last stop of our tour. We were expecting a lot of places to go. But we end up going to four places which most of us had already gone to due to the bad weather and the detour in Bula.

Bowling at the Embarcadero. This is the only thing that made Jianne excited about going on the tour. She already played bowling so many times there and she's always been having fun playing bowling. It was her latest hobby but Legazpi is way too far for her to go everyday. Too bad there's no bowling alley built in Naga.

"Jianne: Looking at the photos, I felt like being a professional bowler but honestly, I can't even do consecutive strikes.Haha "

Thanks Israel for taking our photos while playing bowling. "Abee: it was my first time to play bowling. Teehee ;)"

Zipline. After playing bowling, we've decided to go zip lining with our friends. Eleven of us dared to go zip lining, namely, Jianne, Abee, Jules, Kruiser, Don, Pearl, Kathy, Ate Beth, Jaja, Anthony, and Krishna.

Some of our friends even wanted to watch us. They're very supportive! But before that, we took group photos with them. We were so active that time!

You can see big smiles on our faces. We were really active and playful that time because of too much excitement because it was the first time for the most of us.

But our excitement was spoiled. We weren't able to go zip lining because of the bad weather. Don, Kruiser and Anthony were able to go but Anthony and Kruiser had been stuck in the middle. Phew! Thank God, the staffs were very nice and the money was refundable. Too bad, we were not able to go but it's okay because there will always be next time!

On our way home...

So that's everything we did. But the day wasn't over yet. We did some cool and fun stuff inside the bus which made the day superb!

Of course, taking photos will be on the top of the list of what-to-do during the ride. And the usual, Jianne took the photos but it was actually fun, she said, walking inside the bus while it's moving.

The people at the back of our bus. Well, hello there guys! No one's asleep at the moment. Actually, most of us were eating. Haha!

Hi there Darlyn and Jessa who had been so quiet during the tour. Peace! And hi there Jess and Kathy. Congrats Jess! You didn't throw up! :))

During the ride, we spent our time eating a lot of junk foods, sharing foods to everybody and the best part is - singing during the ride even most of us are out of tune. There were some teasing and a lot of laugh-out-loud moments. Spending time with friends had made it best. Indeed, it is a great way to start the month!

That's a wrap everybody! Pardon for the very very long post.

Love lots,
